New 2023 Honda HR-V For Sale in Stratham, NH

Honda Stratham has Your Inside Look at the Revamped, Upcoming, 2023 Honda HR-V

After debuting in 2016 as a new, subcompact option for drivers who love SUVs and prefer their vehicles on the petite side, the 2023 Honda HR-V is launching into the upcoming model year with a new generation and a new look. It's been a longtime favorite for our customers at Honda Stratham, and we're excited to tell you more about everything that's new and interesting about the upcoming model.

Exterior

More than a new model year, the 2023 Honda HR-V will feature the launch of the model's second generation. As such, it gets more than the average makeover, with a complete redesign and eye-catching, new look. This new generation is longer by 9.4 inches than the previous model, bringing its total to 179.8 inches, and it's also a little wider than the outgoing models. It also shares its platform and underpinning frame with the perennially popular, 2023 Honda Civic, making it easy to park and easy to maneuver in city traffic. The newer version also gets an independent rear suspension, which promises a smooth ride every time and improved handling.

Interior

Inside the new, 2023 Honda HR-V, drivers will find a comfortable and accommodating space for up to five people in two rows. There's ample headroom and legroom to keep your tallest friends happy, with plenty of rear cargo space to help you haul a load of groceries home or pack a few suitcases for a road trip. One noticeable difference between the previous model and the new generation is that the backseats no longer flip up for extra cargo space in the rear. They only fold down to expand the rear cargo hold, making it even more useful when you have extra gear to tote along when you leave home.

Technology

Technology

With a brand name that's as respected and renowned as Honda, drivers have come to expect features and amenities that are high quality and intuitive, and the 2023 Honda HR-V does not disappoint. Every model starts with a standard touchscreen interface that measures 7 inches, and it comes standard with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone integration. Many other features that our customers appreciate are also available as well, including an optional upgrade to a 9-inch touchscreen display and other sought-after amenities.

Safety

Safety

The engineers at Honda understand that safety is always a priority for drivers across the country. As a result, they make sure to put the latest safety features and advanced driver technologies on every vehicle they produce, including the 2023 Honda HR-V. This model gets a slew of great features standard, including lane-keeping assistance, automatic emergency braking, and adaptive cruise control. Plus, other advanced safety aids are also available by moving up in trims or exploring options.

Performance

Performance

Where the previous, first-generation models from this lineup were powered by a 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine that produced 141 horsepower and 127 pound-feet of torque, the new 2023 Honda HR-V gets a whole new powertrain system under its hood, to go with its new redesign and updated interior. Now, drivers can look forward to a boost in power, coming from a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine, similar to the system that powers the 2022 Honda Civic sedan. This new engine produces 158 horsepower and has 138 pound-feet of torque.
